Responsibilities
- Lead development of 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping and deploying next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to foster creative problem-solving
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Collaborate with global research institutions and patent new methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching products using AI, quantum, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management with executive presentation experience
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization
- Experience managing distributed teams and agile methodologies
