Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with company vision and market trends
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech fusion)
- Partner with product teams to prioritize innovation initiatives and allocate R&D resources
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab team of 8-10 technical specialists
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their impact on business operations
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track ROI on experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Experience managing $10M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and research institutions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry conferences
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, Scenario Planning)
