- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future market demands
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Produce strategic briefings and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory factors affecting technology deployment
- Mentor junior analysts on future assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, R&D planning, or futurism roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business frameworks
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience working with cross-cultural, distributed teams
