Responsibilities
- Architect and prioritize technology roadmaps targeting 2026 commercialization horizons
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized AI
- Develop future-proof systems architectures with 10-year scalability and security frameworks
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify and acquire emerging startups
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish innovation KPIs and measure ROI for future-facing technologies
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate venture funding
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
