Responsibilities
- Holistic Horizon Scanning: Continuously monitor global technological trends, emerging AI paradigms, and disruptive market forces to identify opportunities and threats relevant to 2026.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and communicate a comprehensive 5-year technology strategy, specifically detailing the critical milestones and innovations for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product managers, and engineering leads to translate visionary concepts into actionable, executable roadmaps.
- Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitor trajectories and emerging tech stacks to ensure Nexus Horizon AI remains the market leader in innovation.
- Resource Forecasting: Anticipate technical resource requirements and budget implications for future technology initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of capital and talent.
- Innovation Labs: Spearhead pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives for experimental technologies to validate their potential impact before full-scale deployment.
Qualifications
- Strategic Leadership: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or futurism, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level capacity.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and next-gen computing architectures (e.g., Quantum computing, Neuromorphic engineering).
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate industry shifts and pivot strategies effectively in dynamic environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences, from technical engineers to non-technical executives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
