Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Conduct market analysis for emerging technologies (AGI, biocomputing, climate tech) and identify strategic opportunities
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration protocols
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping of futuristic solutions
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on regulatory compliance strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology applications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated success in scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
