Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Drive innovation governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget through stakeholder alignment and ROI modeling
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on disruptive technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong network with academic/industry leaders in Silicon Valley
- Proficiency in strategic modeling tools (e.g., System Dynamics, Monte Carlo)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
