Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ in domains including quantum AI, biocomputing, and metaverse infrastructure
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Produce strategic white papers and patent portfolios for future-facing innovations
- Establish KPIs for tracking technological adoption and competitive positioning
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of developing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication and presentation abilities
- Portfolio of published thought leadership or patents
