- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and competitive intelligence analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive patent development and open-source contributions in future tech domains
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2026-tech relevance
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing >$5M in innovation funding or government grants
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of future-facing technologies
