Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and societal needs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global R&D centers
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging risks and opportunities in tech ethics and regulation
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy and IP portfolio development for future tech verticals
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products with $50M+ impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Published research or patents in at least one emerging tech field
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred for global partnerships
