Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI ethics, quantum algorithm development, and synthetic biology integration
- Identify and vet emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future-tech roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Develop intellectual property portfolios for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in launching at least two commercialized tech innovations
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or CRISPR applications
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or DARPA funding
- Strong network with MIT Media Lab, NASA Ames, or similar institutions
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Strategic certification from Singularity University or similar
