Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026+ initiatives across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop implementation frameworks for futuristic solutions with real-world applications
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build next-gen talent pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications for industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or systems
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
