Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with Fortune 500 partners and academic institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design and validate experimental prototypes in our state-of-the-art R&D labs
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical researchers
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding or government grants
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
