- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-generation technologies
- Manage innovation budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Collaborate with academic institutions on breakthrough research initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on industry transformation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/blockchain)
- Executive experience scaling technology ventures to $100M+ ARR
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning for 2026+ tech landscapes
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant technical field
- Track record of securing $50M+ in innovation funding
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory frameworks
