Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate planning
- Build and lead a dedicated innovation lab focused on 2026+ technological breakthroughs
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, partners, and industry forums
- Drive patent development and intellectual property portfolios for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in future-tech forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience scaling innovation teams and managing multi-million R&D budgets
- Strong network within tech venture capital and academic research communities
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Track record of commercializing emerging technologies
