Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen systems
- Analyze market trends to identify disruptive opportunities in IoT, AR/VR, and sustainable tech
- Collaborate with VCs and startups to incubate 2026-viable innovations
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership on future tech implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
