- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for futuristic solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage vendor partnerships for experimental technology adoption
- Drive innovation workshops with global R&D teams
- Monitor regulatory shifts affecting future tech implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Strong financial modeling for tech investment scenarios
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies for long-term projects
- Exceptional communication for complex technical storytelling
