Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Partner with MIT/Stanford on emerging tech adoption studies
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech integration
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage patent strategy for 200+ emerging technology applications
- Coordinate with UN Global Compact on sustainable tech standards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with Fortune 500 or Big Tech experience
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum computing
- Proven track record scaling technologies from lab to market
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Deep expertise in regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Experience securing $100M+ in government innovation grants
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
