Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Identify acquisition targets and partnership opportunities in frontier tech
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and assess regulatory implications
- Drive innovation sprints with 20+ engineers and designers
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier industry publications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Portfolio of patented innovations or industry-changing frameworks
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese (for global partnerships)
