Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing and AI ethics
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware/software innovation
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with commercial potential
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on future-proofing their tech ecosystems
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Proven track record in launching commercialized tech innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Exceptional communication with executive presence
- Published research or patents in relevant domains
- Experience with agile methodologies and open-source ecosystems
