Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026+ technology strategy roadmap with 3-5 year horizon
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence) for market disruption potential
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Oversee $50M+ R&D portfolio allocation across frontier technologies
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (minimum 2 unicorn-scale exits)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
