Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions with 6-month delivery cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with market potential
- Present findings to C-suite and board members using data-driven visualizations
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling tech innovation proposals
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
- Partner with MIT and Stanford research labs on joint ventures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AI governance frameworks, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals (Nature/Science preferred)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional stakeholder management across global enterprises
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech foresight projects
