Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Lead the strategic planning process to identify key technological trends, including AI evolution, quantum computing, and Web3 integration, and integrate them into our long-term roadmap.
- Technology Assessment: Conduct in-depth research and proof-of-concept (PoC) development for emerging technologies to determine their feasibility and commercial value for Nexus.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a cross-functional team of futurists, engineers, and product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and rapid experimentation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical forecasts into clear business strategies for executive leadership, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technological risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition into future tech paradigms.
- Partnerships: Collaborate with academic institutions, research labs, and tech startups to stay ahead of the curve on breakthrough discoveries.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technology strategy, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies (AI/ML, Blockchain, Edge Computing, IoT) and their potential applications.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining long-term technical roadmaps and executing on complex strategic initiatives.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
