Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar R&D partnerships with academic institutions
- Translate emerging scientific research into patentable commercial solutions
- Present breakthrough innovations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor talent in emerging tech methodologies and ethical deployment frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in leadership roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering
- Proven track record scaling emerging tech from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Deep understanding of ethical AI and quantum governance frameworks
