Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and validate emerging tech opportunities through market analysis and pilot programs
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and investors
- Mentor a diverse team of 15+ engineers and researchers
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful tech products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing venture capital or corporate innovation funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or conferences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
