Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the 2026 World Cup technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Oversee the integration of IoT, 5G, and cloud infrastructure across multiple venues and fan zones.
- Manage cross-functional teams including network engineers, software developers, and third-party vendors.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure 99.99% system uptime during peak event periods.
- Establish governance frameworks for data security, privacy, and compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Present technical progress and architectural decisions to executive stakeholders and government liaisons.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT Program Management or Technical Architecture, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or events.
- Proven track record managing complex projects with budgets exceeding $50M.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing (AWS/Azure) and network architecture.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
- Experience with ISO 27001 security standards and disaster recovery planning.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration preferred.
