Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time perception systems for autonomous navigation using LiDAR, radar, and computer vision
- Develop predictive collision avoidance algorithms using machine learning models
- Architect redundant fail-safe systems for critical vehicle operations
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to optimize pathfinding computations
- Conduct rigorous simulation testing in virtual traffic environments
- Lead integration of 5G-V2X communication protocols for vehicle-to-everything connectivity
- Document technical specifications and contribute to ISO 26262 safety standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in autonomous systems or embedded development
- Proficiency in C++/Python with ROS framework implementation
- Expertise in sensor fusion and Kalman filtering algorithms
- Strong background in machine learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in autonomous navigation or related field
