Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Secure patents and intellectual property for proprietary innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative research culture
- Represent Nexus at global AI summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in NeurIPS, ICML, or equivalent tier venues
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems
- Strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, and distributed computing frameworks
- Experience with large-scale model training (10B+ parameters)
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Preferred: Background in quantum computing or neuro-symbolic AI
