Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms with 99.9% reliability thresholds
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for 2026 quantum infrastructure projects
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Collaborate with DARPA and NASA on quantum-secure communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent with 8+ years R&D
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or AI
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record securing $3M+ in research funding
- Experience with quantum error correction at scale
- Deep understanding of 2026 quantum hardware roadmaps
- Fluency in Python/C++ with HPC optimization skills
