- Identify emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, AGI safety frameworks)
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding for breakthrough projects
- Publish thought leadership in IEEE and Nature journals
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in AI ethics and explainability
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI with 10+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Proven track record scaling AI teams to 50+ members
- Expertise in federated learning and blockchain integration
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act and global regulatory landscapes
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Patents in at least one core AI domain
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA-funded initiatives
