Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits across ML pipelines
- Lead stakeholder workshops on responsible AI deployment
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI systems
- Partner with product teams to embed ethics-by-design principles
- Monitor emerging AI legislation and update compliance protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in bias detection tools (e.g., Aequitas, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Published work on algorithmic accountability or AI ethics
- Experience with GDPR, EU AI Act, and NIST AI RMF frameworks
- Strong technical aptitude for reviewing ML model architectures
- Exceptional communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
