As a key member of our Future Governance Council, you'll influence product roadmaps, advise executive leadership on ethical risks, and pioneer industry standards for transparent AI deployment. You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neuro-ethicists, and policy experts to build trust in autonomous systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and evolving regulatory landscapes
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for generative AI systems before deployment
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with engineers, regulators, and community representatives
- Author whitepapers on AI ethics principles for industry conferences and policy forums
- Design ethics-by-default protocols for next-generation autonomous decision systems
- Monitor global AI governance developments and advise on proactive compliance strategies
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI implementation through workshops and documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias or explainable AI in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in NIST AI Risk Management Framework and EU AI Act compliance
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies on AI policy matters
- Strong background in applied ethics for high-stakes domains (healthcare/autonomous systems)
- Fluency in Python for ethical auditing tool development
- Global perspective on cultural differences in AI acceptability standards
