- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous decision systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into ML pipelines
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Author industry whitepapers on AI accountability and transparency best practices
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and advise on compliance strategies
- Train technical teams on responsible AI development methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning systems
- Familiarity with global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong technical background in ML model evaluation and interpretability tools
- Exceptional written communication skills for policy documentation and stakeholder reporting
- Experience with cross-functional ethics governance in tech environments
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI development preferred
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI) highly valued
