Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on bias mitigation, explainability, and value alignment
- Develop policy recommendations for regulatory bodies and industry standards
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI implementation
- Author peer-reviewed publications and thought leadership pieces
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams to assess ethical implications
- Mentor junior researchers in ethics and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years researching AI ethics, algorithmic bias, or responsible AI
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning and data science fundamentals
- Experience publishing in top-tier ethics or AI conferences/journals
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating applied ethics projects
