Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical risk assessment frameworks for AI systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of generative AI models for bias detection
- Develop corporate governance policies for autonomous decision-making systems
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards in product development
- Present research findings at global tech ethics summits
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
- Collaborate with legal teams to prepare regulatory compliance documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years AI research experience
- Published work on algorithmic bias mitigation or AI governance
- Expertise in ethical frameworks (IEEE 7000, EU AI Act) and regulatory landscapes
- Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with participatory design methodologies and stakeholder engagement
- Track record of translating ethical principles into technical implementations
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI (e.g., IBM, Google)
