Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging regulations
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across ML models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical design principles into AI development lifecycle
- Create transparency documentation for high-risk AI systems (e.g., explainable AI reports)
- Advocate stakeholder engagement with regulators, policymakers, and civil society groups
- Establish continuous monitoring protocols for model drift and ethical compliance
- Lead incident response for ethical breaches in AI systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years' experience
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks (e.g., ACM Code of Ethics, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Proven experience with regulatory compliance (GDPR, AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning model evaluation and bias detection
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or governance (papers, whitepapers, industry guidelines)
- Experience with cross-functional team leadership in tech environments
