Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct bias audits and ethical risk assessments for AI systems
- Lead stakeholder engagement on ethical AI practices across departments
- Monitor regulatory developments (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks) and ensure compliance
- Design training programs on responsible AI for technical and non-technical teams
- Establish transparent documentation for AI decision-making processes
- Partner with data scientists to implement fairness metrics in model development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field
- 3+ years in AI ethics, governance, or compliance roles
- Expertise in machine learning and AI system architectures
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act)
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for enterprise-scale AI
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating ethical AI initiatives or research
