Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI tools
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models
- Lead cross-functional working groups on responsible AI deployment
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry coalitions and regulatory bodies
- Create governance documentation for AI lifecycle management
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and adapt compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, risk management, or ethics compliance
- Deep expertise in AI fairness, transparency, and accountability frameworks
- Experience with NIST AI Risk Management Framework and EU AI Act
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Published research on AI ethics or policy (strongly preferred)
- Strong background in regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
