Responsibilities
- Policy & Framework Development: Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks that align with 2026 regulatory standards (e.g., the EU AI Act and US Federal AI Ethics guidelines).
- Bias Mitigation Audits: Conduct rigorous testing and auditing of machine learning models to identify, quantify, and eliminate algorithmic bias in real-time.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives, legal teams, and public policymakers.
- Compliance Strategy: Establish data privacy protocols and ensure full compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and future state data sovereignty laws.
- Incident Response: Lead post-incident analyses for AI system failures, developing long-term strategies to prevent recurrence and mitigate reputational risk.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Law, Philosophy, or a related field with a focus on Ethics and Technology.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development, data science, or a relevant legal/compliance role within the tech sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, NLP, and generative AI technologies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes and a proven track record of advising on compliance issues.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority.
