Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Lead bias auditing and fairness validation across machine learning pipelines
- Develop real-time ethical monitoring systems for deployed AI solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical principles into AI development lifecycles
- Produce regulatory compliance strategies for evolving AI legislation
- Conduct foresight research on emerging AI ethics challenges
- Mentor cross-functional teams in ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or governance roles
- Expertise in algorithmic bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks for ethical auditing
- Published research in AI ethics or technology ethics
- Experience with stakeholder engagement across diverse communities
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM) preferred
