Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act guidelines
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical AI principles and accountability protocols
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and advise on compliance strategies
- Document ethical risk mitigation strategies for C-suite review
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
- Represent the company at global ethics summits and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Experience with bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Proven track record of developing ethical AI frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or white papers on AI ethics topics
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, CAIGI) preferred
