Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks and governance policies for all company products
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Advise leadership on emerging AI regulations and compliance requirements
- Create training materials and conduct workshops on responsible AI practices
- Lead stakeholder engagement with diverse communities to gather feedback on AI impacts
- Stay current on global AI ethics standards and contribute to industry discourse
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in AI governance, ethics, or responsible AI development
- Deep understanding of machine learning systems and their societal implications
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills for bias detection and ethical risk mitigation
- Excellent communication abilities to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management
- Publication or speaking record in AI ethics conferences strongly preferred
