Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 38507 and EU AI Act guidelines
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems (e.g., autonomous vehicles, diagnostic AI)
- Establish governance protocols for AI model lifecycle management from training to deployment
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, ethics boards, and industry coalitions
- Create training programs for technical teams on responsible AI development practices
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and proactively update compliance strategies
- Author transparent AI documentation for public accountability
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record of designing ethical AI policies for regulated industries
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and algorithmic fairness metrics
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics to non-technical audiences
- Experience with AI model auditing tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification, EU AI Act Compliance Specialist)
