Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating industry shifts post-2026
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, biotech, quantum systems, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futurist insights into product strategies
- Author predictive white papers on societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Advise C-suite executives on technology investment priorities and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain a global network of academic, industry, and governmental futurists
- Design immersive scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ business environments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (peer-reviewed journals or industry publications)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and predictive modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-level strategies
