Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological innovations across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Present compelling future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation pilots with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national research labs
- Author quarterly 'Future State' briefings for industry stakeholders
- Mentor next-generation technologists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent industry experience)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Published research in IEEE/Nature on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three 2026-relevant domains: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with 50+ executive presentations delivered
