Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with societal shifts and market disruptions
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate emerging startups
- Host innovation summits featuring Nobel laureates and industry disruptors
- Design ethical frameworks for AI autonomy and human-machine symbiosis
- Secure patents for breakthrough technologies in sustainable computing
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human augmentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight roles
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario modeling methodologies
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations or major tech deployments
