Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, Web4 protocols) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ market projections and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum/AI research labs and academic institutions
- Present futuristic technology blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Monitor geopolitical shifts in tech regulation and their impact on innovation strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in long-term forecasting
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate ventures
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within DARPA, NASA, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Track record of commercializing emerging technologies
