Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech solutions
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Design and oversee pilot programs for next-gen human-AI collaboration systems
- Partner with academic institutions and government agencies on future-focused R&D projects
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology architects
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
