Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging tech domains
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal impact
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product specifications
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government agencies
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Lead innovation sprints focused on prototyping 2026-era solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global tech conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented futuristic solutions
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
