Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and prototyping breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling proposals to venture capital partners and government innovation grants
- Establish industry-wide standards for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech implementation
- Present visionary technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor 15+ technical specialists through our Future Leaders program
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford AI Institute on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing at least two emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published author in Nature or Science with 50+ citations in tech ethics literature
- Experience securing $10M+ in government innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, Horizon Europe)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Speaker at 3+ major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, TechCrunch Disrupt) in the past 3 years
